1. Select the markets : Identify needs of customer segments that can best serve and those who make money, discarding unprofitable.
Our marketing efforts should focus on a group of customers:
Put the focus: Identify your most profitable customers needs, dominating a market niche where you have strengths.
Segmentation: Dividing the market into groups with similar characteristics who require similar products.
Profile: Meet customers by segment, identifying that need and value, which benefits expected and buying behaviors
2. Analyze your markets : Gather information and draw conclusions quantitative (number of customers, how much they spend, etc..) and qualitative (because they buy, their likes and dislikes, they need, etc..) To what extent we are meeting our customers and as our competitors do.
